What We Do

We stand with the youth. We stand with vulnerable women.

School Outreach

We work with secondary schools to empower both boys and girls through:

  •
Menstrual hygiene education and product distribution
  • Anti-bullying campaigns and safe space conversations
  • Literacy and reading promotion
  • Confidence-building and leadership development

We believe that children should be equipped not only with knowledge, but with dignity, self-worth, and resilience.

Women and Community Support

We reach vulnerable women with targeted care and support through:

  • Widow outreach and empowerment initiatives
  •  Prison visits and dignity kits for female inmates
  • Orphanage support and regular child-focused aid
  • Community engagement programmes that promote healing, skills-building, and restoration

Our work is consistent, compassionate, and deeply relational. We don’t drop in. We show up. We stay.

Why We Do It

  • Because every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and believe in a better future.
  • Because every woman deserves the right to be heard, helped, and honoured.
  • Because we believe the love of God should be visible, practical, and powerful in the lives of the most vulnerable.
  • Because true change starts with showing up and choosing to care.

School Outreach Campaign

We are hitting the road again this time to meet girls where they are. In classrooms and school halls, we’ll be holding sessions that teach menstrual hygiene with dignity and provide tools to confront and stand against bullying. From education to empowerment, this outreach will not only provide sanitary products, but also build confidence, break myths, and create safe spaces for young girls to ask questions and be heard.

Our goals:

  • Distribute hygiene kits to over 1,000 girls.
  • Hold interactive sessions on menstrual health and body care.
  • Educate on bullying, peer pressure, and emotional safety.
  • Empower each girl to embrace her identity with boldness and grace.

Who we are

Empower a Woman Africa (EWA) is the mission arm of Empower a Woman Ministries. While the ministry began in 2014 with a focus on both charity and spiritual outreach, a new chapter began when we registered Empower a Woman as a UK charity to focus fully on gospel-centred ministry.
