Our Story
Empower a Woman Africa (EWA) is the mission arm of Empower a Woman Ministries. While the ministry began in 2014 with a focus on both charity and spiritual outreach, a new chapter began when we registered Empower a Woman as a UK charity to focus fully on gospel-centred ministry.
At the same time, our deep love for African communities remained unchanged. To continue this mission-focused work with clarity and commitment, we launched EWA Foundations in Ghana in 2023. EWA exists to reach the heart of Africa through practical love, hands-on service, and grassroots transformation. We are here for the youth. We are here for vulnerable women. We are here for the overlooked and the unheard. Our work is personal. It is not charity from afar. It is a shared story of hope, dignity, and possibility.
